On behalf of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP), I am writing to formally submit a comment regarding the information on this Wikipedia page.

The International Refugee Assistance Project Wikipedia page currently states that “The International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) is a project of the Urban Justice Center in New York City [...]” This information is outdated and needs to be updated to reflect the current status of the organization. The updated information is as follows: On December 23, 2018, the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) became an independent 501(c)(3) organization and is no longer affiliated with the Urban Justice Center.

Verification of this change can be found on page 29 of the IRAP “2019 Report to Supporters” (https://refugeerights.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/IRAP-Report-2019-MECH.pdf) and on this mailing, which was sent on March 11, 2019: https://mailchi.mp/refugeerights/a-new-beginning-at-irap-3167577.
