Jamaica Accord(s)
Fixed exchange-rate system mentions the "Jamaica Accords". It seems like they should be explained in this article. An external source[1] says:
- An international agreement that ratified the end of the Bretton Woods System by allowing the managed float of the price of gold with respect to the U.S. dollar. The agreement was concluded in 1976. A 1978 amendment to the Jamaica Accord allowed for the creation of Special Drawing Rights.
