Is it possible that International recognition is not quite the same as Diplomatic recognition? Or maybe it shouldn't be - that is, if it is regarded as same. If so, it should redirect or point to something else. Any thoughts? --Biblbroks's talk 09:26, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
- Maybe The only difference that I can imagine is when State A recognizes State B (or possibly a fact about State B) without exchanging any personnel. E.g. - the United States "acknowledged" the One-China Policy several years before establishing ambassadorial exchange with the People's Repbulic of China. Conventionally, I think that the two terms are synonymous, though. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 16:38, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
