Kio/kiu

I'm not an expoert, but a common doubt is if I shoud use "kiu estas via nomo" or "kio estas via nomo". Duolingo is teaching this wrong since in we shoud use Kiu estas via nomo. In enlish is translated into what but if you get other languages ex.: portuguese kio "o que" and kiu "qual/quem" kio is for definition and kiu for individual object or person. Merge?

Not a lot of info here that isn't in the main article, and whoever wrote it didn't even bother to use standard orthography. We could split off every little bit of grammar into its own article, but I don't see the point. Any objections to merging? kwami 17:29, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

The Esperanto Grammar article is quite big already, and the question-words (kiu, kio, kia,...) are not in there. I came here today specifically to look for these words, and I was glad I didnt have to hunt through a huge article. To "split off every little bit of grammar" is certainly not something I would endorse, but I feel that some major topics could benefit from an article of their own. --BjKa 08:45, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

What about multi-choice questions?

The article doesn't touch on how to ask questions of the form "Is it this or that?". Does Esperanto not have these, or has nobody who's ever asked one in Esperanto found this article? -- Smjg (talk) 18:46, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

It would be periphrastic, depend on the context, and perhaps the wording in one's native language. You could say "cxu tio, cxu tio?", "cxu estas tiu, au tiu cxi?", etc. I don't think there's a set expression. kwami (talk) 06:52, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
