Correct error

edit

The first words say Inter-frame where it should say Intra-frame. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.148.186.173 (talk) 17:49, 26 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

You are correct, inter frames consist of P- and B-frames sharing data between (inter) themselves and anchor frames (I->P->P and I->B<-P). Next time, be bold. --213.216.199.6 (talk) 14:32, 16 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why is ProRes a GOP codec?

edit

From the article: "It is part of an intra-frame codec like ProRes: a group of pictures codec without inter frames." In what way is ProRes a GOP codec if it has no inter-frames? If it's technically true that ProRes is a GOP codec, perhaps this sentence could be re-worded to be less confusing, because as it is it seems to contradict the "Group of pictures" article. If it's not a GOP codec, perhaps this should be rewritten. Thanks. Chconnor (talk) 20:02, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I thought the same. I would define ProRes in opposition to GoP codecs. 210.54.156.2 (talk) 06:30, 24 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
