Merging into Bulgarian occupation of Serbia

edit

@Shellypls, @DuncanHill, @Gog the Mild Shouldn't this be merged into Bulgarian occupation of Serbia (World War I)? Aeengath (talk) 13:41, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

I don't off hand see why. There is more than enough material to support a separate article. Eg, as with Battle of France and German military administration in occupied France during World War II and many others. I was surprised that the invasion did not already have its own article. At least move to "Bulgarian invasion of Serbia" or "Bulgarian invasion of Serbia (1915)" if disambiguation is necessary. (t · c) buidhe 14:18, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Gog the Mild It's not really comparable to France during WWII, as there isn't nearly as much literature on the subject. So far, I only see material that already exists, with sections that almost mirror each other: Macedonia, a Serbian and Bulgarian issue vs Bulgaria war aims / Bulgarian intervention vs Invasion of Serbia / Bulgarian policy in Serbia vs Bulgarian hegemony / Ethnic cleansing policy vs System of occupation / Counter-insurgency operations vs Resistance and repression / Liberation and aftermath vs Liberation of Bulgarian-occupied Serbian territory...etc Aeengath (talk) 16:03, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
IMO there is sufficient for a stand alone article. Whether either could be improved and/or have additional sources cited is a separate issue. Gog the Mild (talk) 16:05, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ok thank you for your input. Aeengath (talk) 17:01, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
