Racecourse Park - where is it?

I have not heard of Racecourse Park - where is it? What road is it on? Is it within Ipswich or outside? Where was the photo taken? I am doubtful that it actually exists, most likely the park or green area referred to may be better known by some other name. Racecourse Recreation Ground?

Someone has now provided a description of the roads where "Racecourse Park" is supposed to be. It is extremely misleading to describe it as a park, as that area is entirely built-up with houses that look as if they were built mostly in the 1930s, with two or three recreation grounds such as the Racecourse Recreation Ground which is where I think the sign shown in a photo is. Even before the 1930s, there is no evidence yet that it was ever a public park. One may guess that it was fields or heathland perhaps. It would be more accurate to link the article with the Racecourse Recreation Ground, which is only one of the many small parks in Ipswich and not in the same class as the several very large parks such as Christchurch, Hollywells, Chantry etc. Perhaps the now demolished Racecourse Public House was trying to big up the area. 92.3.72.226 (talk) 13:26, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
