Should look for more to confirm or rule out that he was with the SEC and the US Atty's ofc previously. I think the former law firm mentioned here will make the tie, but i don't assume the following page is more than a synthesis from pages that are abt the same name but not the same person: http://www.wallstreetletter.com/ArticleLogin.aspx?ArticleID=1124115 Check the NYTimes for a profile on him. --Jerzy•t08:49, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

http://names.whitepages.com/Ira/Sorkin indicates there are abt 8M names more common than "Ira Sorkin" (based on finding 2 in NY and 1 in Cal; could easily be they've got 2 listings for this one, making the name even rarer. Unlikely there will ever be a need for a HatNote Dab to other ISs, unless someone assaults another one, not understanding that the real one is already confined. On the other hand, vowel-R-vowel... is a memory slot for that left trying to decide if i knew of another Ira Sorkin, maybe at NPR. I was thinking of Aaron Sorkin, and will add a suitable HatNote for him. --Jerzy•t09:02, 11 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
