Links
editThe links cited don't really gibe with the paragraph in the article. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say something like:
- "During the 2004 Olympics, team members expressed their objections to commercials by the re-election campaign of George W. Bush which made reference to Iraq'a participation in the Games."
Reason being, is that the Bush ads didn't (verbally) mention the football team expressly.

More information?
editShouldn't this article make some mention of Uday's (mis)management of the team, and the effect continued fighting has had on the Iraqi team? The team has played through some very unusual circumstances, and it's probably noteworthy, as it would explain Iraq's pretty poor performance in international competition. --NEMT 19:43, 3 July 2006 ( I think its pretty poor to mention them as the best international team
al Zawraa is also an Arabic language television channel. You should have more information on that channel and a link to the information.
