Hewar National Iraqi Front

These do not appear to be separate lists as the current text of this article suggests. "Hewar" is simply Arabic for "dialogue." The initial results from the Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq [1] suggest that the Hewar National Iraqi Front is the list that received the seats referred to in this article, and various media reports [2] [3] identify Mutlak as the leader of the group.

However then what's the relation if the main Dialogue group and the smaller parties listed in the Hewar Page ? i just list them as affiliated here for the moment .Xerex 18:53, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Merge?

Oppose as it is distinct and tries to distance itself from the INDC. But the latter could get its Arabic name too, so the distinction would be visible and I might learn something. Dysmorodrepanis 18:25, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

It's confusing, but these are two separate organizations -- do not merge

The Dialogue Council, headed by Khalaf al-`Ilyan, is a political party that has entered into coalition with two other parties (the Islamic Party, and the Conference of the People of Iraq), to form the Iraqi Accordance (Tawafuq) Front.

Whereas the Dialogue Front, headed by Saleh al-Mutlak, is its own independent political front, made up of a coalition of parties, as noted in its Wikipedia entry.

Ideology?

There have been constant changes to the ideology section on the article's infobox. Arab nationalism, Iraqi nationalism, national conservatism, secularism, and Sunni Islamism have all been listed at one point or another and none of them have ever been verified by citations.
