Merging Isa (computer science) to Is-a
editI think that Is-a is a better name than Isa for the title. AKA MBG 11:43, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
I completely agree with AKA MBG Korayvt (talk) 13:33, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- I'll agree with this as well. If there are no problems or concerns, I'll probably merge the two sometime in the near future. — alex.muller (talk • edits) 13:37, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. Same applies for Has-a and Hasa (computer science). --Chris Howard (talk) 14:37, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Java examples
editThe Java examples are a bit odd in that rather than describing an everyday "is-a" (extends/implements) they focus on a complicated instance of the concept as applied with generics. Also, the text is not completely clear in that it may bring the unexperienced reader to believe that the Collections hierarchy has something special about it rather than just being a (sophisticated) example. In fact, someone completely unaware of Java reading the paragraph may be led to believe that Collections are Java's version of is-a. Moongateclimber (talk) 12:23, 7 April 2014 (UTC)

Does this article still need to be revised?
edit@Mr. Guye: There are many cleanup tags on this article, but I don't understand their purpose here. Why does this article need to be revised? Jarble (talk) 20:58, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
@Jarble: I have removed the less serious tags, but the two I left definitely still apply. — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs) 22:30, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Mr. Guye: Which concepts in this article are "too technical" for readers to understand? Jarble (talk) 22:40, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- You can remove it, I don't really remember, and it is certainly better than how it was. — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs) 00:19, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
Is it really "PyType_Type"?
editSection Python: How does that lead to the name "PyType_Type"? Is that actually the case?
