Crazy Brits. Thats funny stuff. Zzz345zzz 23:22, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
Great clip, but why is it known as "Is This the Way to Armadillo"? An Armadillo is an animal, Amarillo is a place (and the title of the song in the video). Maybe chalk it up to an Anglo-American confusion.
- I suspect it was done for humerous effect. Armadillos (at least to those of us on the opposite side of the atlantic to them) seem to be quite funny creatures, and Armadillo is a funny word. Thryduulf 15:08, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
I'd guess it's because armadillos have lots of armor, and it looks like it was filmed in a military base. Plus there are armadillos in Texas.
"Way down in Kosovo"
editIIRC there also was a like-minded video made by KFOR troops in Kosovo to the song "Kokomo" by The Beach Boys. --Theredstarswl 05:40, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
- Pretty silly to list it as a spin-off when it was made years before the Amarillo video. --83.108.140.187 18:27, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
