Notability
editHello all. This draft was declined due to notability concerns on 27 September 2020. I would like to resubmit the draft without changes because I believe that the draft passes WP:ANYBIO since he has won a Daytime Emmy Award. To me, the award is well-known and significant. I acknowledge that he does not pass WP:NACTOR but WP:N states that an article only needs to pass one guideline. Please take this into consideration when reviewing the draft again. Thank you. This article was recently submitted at articles for creation but it was declined due to notability concerns. I believe that the draft passes WP:ANYBIO because the person has won a Daytime Emmy Award which, I believe, satisfies criteria 1 of WP:ANYBIO: The person has received a well-known and significant award or honor, or has been nominated for such an award several times.
I asked about the significance at the Teahouse and it was suggested to reach out to the reviewer.
@Robert McClenon: Could you please expand on why you believe the article fails WP:ANYBIO? You only seemed focused on WP:NACTOR in your comment. Thanks. Pamzeis (talk) 06:42, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
- Maybe the acting notability guidelines should be revised to include a mention of awards that satisfy the biographical criteria. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:05, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
