editLe nom de la ville de Thessalonique en 1876 était Salonique : c'était une ville importante de l'empire Ottoman. Les habitants étaient sujets ottomans et non grecs. Plutôt que juifs grecs, il s'agissait de juifs ottomans issus d'Espagne "séfarad"): leur langue vernaculaire était le ladino (espagnol du XVème siècle, utilisant des mots turcs et hébreux). "CIC" in lead paragraph
editThe lead paragraph of this article contains an acronym "CIC". Unfortunately, it points to a disambiguation page, and I don't know what "CIC" represents. Would somebody please either point "CIC" to the exact Wiki article or spell out the acronym? Thanks.
