Isabel Casillas Guzman → Isabel Guzman – Overwhelmingly known as "Isabel Guzman" and not the current title at an astonishing current rate of 506,000 to 48. Therequiembellishere (talk) 21:43, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose She is not a politician. If the page is moved, it should be moved to “Isabel C. Guzman” or simply “Isabel Guzman”. But I oppose any move until reliable sources indicate whether “Casillas” is her middle name, maiden name or other. KidAd talk 22:06, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- It's literally irrelevant to whether or not it should be the title, it's not how she goes by professionally. Suggest another way to disambiguate, but this long-form flatly fails WP:COMMONNAME. Therequiembellishere (talk) 23:18, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- I suggested "Isabel C. Guzman." Feel free to boldly move the page to that title if it doesn't offend you. But assigning "(politician)" to someone who has never held or run for elected office doesn't seem like a good solution at all. KidAd talk 23:33, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
- Question I'm very confused. Is there another Isabel Guzman? I didn't see another article with this name so why not just move to this location? —Naddruf (talk ~ contribs) 00:44, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose Casillas Guzman is a double barreled surname. Her last name is not simply Guzman... The article name should remain "Isabel Casillas Guzman"; see Spanish naming customs; Cristiano Tomás (talk) 05:11, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Whether it's her legal name or not, is irrelevant, we name pages based on WP:COMMONNAME.--Ortizesp (talk) 05:36, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- This is not true. She does not use her full name nor does the California office she works for. 2600:1700:3777:40C0:41A9:8459:CED1:B3B3 (talk) 23:35, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Comment why not just Isabel Guzman?--Ortizesp (talk) 05:36, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Agree, Isabel Guzman would be best as the COMMONNAME, I'd thought it need a disambig for some reason. Therequiembellishere (talk) 21:23, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Revised move request Therequiembellishere (talk) 21:25, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Support She definitely just goes by Isabel Guzman. That's the way it's listed on the California governor's website and other than occasionally using her middle initial, incorrect that she uses full name.2600:1700:3777:40C0:41A9:8459:CED1:B3B3 (talk) 23:35, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom.--Ortizesp (talk) 19:48, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
- Support per WP:COMMONNAME. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:03, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
- Support Clearly the name most commonly used by reliable sources. —DanCherek (talk) 14:35, 14 January 2021 (UTC)
