Infobox - title and successor
editI disagree with this reversion of my edit. I don't believe that "Winner" is an "awarded title" (and certainly not any of the others) as described at Template:Infobox person#Parameters. I assert that Bliss is only known for winning Master Chef (and if not for the book, I'd suggest that the article be deleted as WP:ONEVENT), and the info box should reflect that. An alternative, would be to use the awards parameteter. (In either case successor is not required.)
- I agree that the article should probably be deleted, but she is clearly a "winner" and was also "succeeded" per standard convention for reality shows. WWGB (talk) 12:10, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- She is a "winner" (in that she won), but I don't think that's the same as a "title" like "Mr Olympia". However, if the standard convention for reality shows is to list the successor, then perhaps we should have a {{Succession box}}. (I disagree with the whole "succession" convention for winners who have no title other than "winner", but if it exists, then the Succession box logically follows.) Management
editI disagree with this removal of the "Professional management" section. The fact that a 14 year old has a professional manager at all is, I think, sufficiently notable to include in the article. A statement of that fact, with a link to Bliss' page on the manager's web site as reference, I don't consider "spam". Perhaps the section needs changing, or the statement should be elsewhere (but it didn't fit elsewhere, which is why I created the section). Mitch Ames (talk) 12:25, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
- Added to infobox. WWGB (talk) 12:35, 30 July 2012 (UTC)
Names of family members in infobox
editI've removed the names of the family from the infobox, as I believe that some of them violate WP:BLPNAME. The twin sister is obviously already mentioned (and notable), the mother and grandmother are publicly on the front cover of the book, but the father and especially the younger siblings are entitled to privacy and their names add no value to the article. We could list some of the family in the infobox, but that would be misleading and offer little value anyway. Mitch Ames (talk) 12:02, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
- Agreed, I support the removal under WP:BLP. WWGB (talk) 12:07, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
