dummelaksen I see you're familiar with Eurovision. Could you please explain why you think that participation in a such prestigious contest is not notable enough to be included? Honestly, I've never seen this before. Sincerely, Գարիկ Ավագյան (talk) 13:43, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Գարիկ Ավագյան: it's more complicated when the singer is only notable for one event. Per WP:1E, "when the role played by an individual in the event is less significant, an independent article may not be needed, and a redirect is appropriate." I don't think Isea Çili's role in Junior Eurovision 2019 is very significant, there are 18 other JESC 2019 artists just like her, 15 of which weren't significant enough for someone to create an article. dummelaksen (talk • contribs) 13:50, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'll also add that the notability template doesn't say the article definitely doesn't meet the notability criteria, and I also haven't suggested the article should be deleted. It's just a maintenance template that will help people improve the article. dummelaksen (talk • contribs) 13:56, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Dummelaksen: I see. Tough for me every participant in Eurovision is significant, however it is clear that participation only in Eurovision event is not enough. Now it's clear to me why the wiki-editors do not create pages for artists. Sincerely, Գարիկ Ավագյան (talk) 18:11, 9 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
