Small House Movement
editThe article stub contains a direct quote from the current city website using the words "small house movement" to describe the trend towards smaller houses that began after WWI and continued just after WWII for various reasons such as affordability during the Depression and decreases in family size. This is not to be confused with the Wiki article on the small house movement which currently focuses on the trend since the 1970s to live in smaller or even tiny houses, and is driven by concerns about environmental sustainability and materialism (i.e. a reaction to so-called "McMansions") as well as affordability. I took out a wikilink already to the article for that reason, but anyone editing in the future should not confuse the two different trends.TheBlinkster (talk) 19:28, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
