speculation
editWP is an encyclopaedia not a place for speculated rumours:
Time magazine has even speculated that Daniel Pearl, an American-Israeli, was assasinated by elements with backing from Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence, over his alleged role in gathering information linking ISI and Al-Qaeda[6]. It is further speculated that Pakistani intelligence sevice did so on the suspicion that Daniel Pearl was an Israeli Mossad spy agent under the cover of being an American journalist

The paragraph has now been rephrased, and the word speculation dropped. Reference provided for all content. (Jalal0 (talk) 14:06, 13 January 2011 (UTC))

conspiracy theories and unreliable sources
editDavid Ben Gurion never said a word about pakistan. Do us a favor and stop adding conspiracy theories to wikipedia. India was also openly anti zionist since Israel was created up to the fall of the Soviet Union, and India supported multiple Arab states and denounce Zionism as imperialism. Calling India "pro israel" is misleading. Israel and Pakistan both viewed the Soviets as an enemy, while India was a Soviet friend. Pakisan and Israel both cooeprated in intelligence against the Soviet forces, while India cooperated with the SovietsLabnoor (talk) 21:00, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
- seriously: who even bothers to look up anything about israle on wiki"hasbara"pedia. it's all worthless zionist propaganda. --91.60.142.240 (talk) 18:01, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
Supposed travel law
editOn 9-Jun-2014, user backendgaming added a claim that Israeli law designates Pakistan as an enemy state, and forbids Israeli citizens from visiting it. The footnote claimed this was to be found in the Israeli legal code vol 2109 page 463. There was also a link to a PDF document, though it was the wrong page. The linked document was completely irrelevant. On page 463 there was indeed a relevant law: A 2007 amendment to the Law Preventing Infiltration (1954) paragraph 2A, adding Iran to the list of countries to which travel from Israel is illegal. Pakistan was not on the original list, was not added by the amendment referenced, and as far as I can tell is not and has never been on the list. The claim appears to have been a complete fabrication; I have removed it. -- 76.15.128.226 (talk) 13:24, 25 August 2015 (UTC)
- news item, pakistan still criminalizes contacts with israel: https://www.ynetnews.com/article/r1beqy3y3 2607:F2C0:EEDC:954:21F9:CDDA:4486:D7AA (talk) 11:41, 13 July 2023 (UTC)

The Religious establishment is the only element that has prevented a normalisation with Israel.
editThe recent overtures towards Israel by Pakistani media puppets of military establishment were not at all anything new. Then ambassador to the US Abidah Hussein and even PM Nawaz Sahrif in 1992 were at least open to the idea of diplomatic ties. This was partly for the reason that India had been getting closer to Israel too. (Yegar, M. (2007). PAKISTAN AND ISRAEL.
