Not sure what u mean about protection. I do think this is an abuse of the word "normalization", there is nothing about exchange of embassies like in the UAE and Bahrain deals.Selfstudier (talk) 16:16, 26 October 2020 (UTC)

American Jewish groups

I removed the sentence that said, "American Jewish organizations offered mixed reactions to the US-brokered normalization deal" because that's too simplistic to describe the reactions. As indicated in the cited source, [1], only one American Jewish organization, the Jewish Democratic Council of America, is indicated as having expressed a negative view, and that view seems to have been aimed primarily at Donald Trump's involvement and his desire to gain politically from the agreement. Meanwhile, Democratic Majority for Israel, AIPAC, and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations were all quoted as expressing favorable views. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:09, 9 November 2020 (UTC)

Is the lead right?

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/14/world/middleeast/sudan-us-terrorism-sponsors-list.html says "In a report on the delisting, Israel’s Army Radio noted that relations between Sudan and Israel had not yet been restored. “The normalization agreement has not yet been signed, and the negotiations are still underway,” it said."
