Proposed album merger in discography
editOppose: While Real is not notable, Live from Another Level is certainly notable (see here for Billboard Chart success). -- Absolon S. Kent (talk) 13:57, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Peak 147 doesn't seem a success to me. I'd say 40 minimum is required to extabilish notability only on chart position. --M4gnum0n (talk) 09:19, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
They are separate albums and so should be documented separately. -- Antnoah (talk) 01:26, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- ...on the same page. --M4gnum0n (talk) 08:17, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
They are entirely separate albums, each containing several separate tracks not crossing over to the other. One is a live version and the other is a studio version of hits that led to the assemblance for the recording of a live version. Both albums are very unique, completely different auditory cues and should be kept separate, especially considering the two years time difference in release. Additionally, the 2004 release was simultaneous with the DVD release of the same mention. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.2.67.161 (talk) 15:00, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- All the info can be added to the Discography section of this article. These two albums are obviously different from each other, however both do not reach notability per WP:MUSIC and should not have a dedicated page. --M4gnum0n (talk) 13:27, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Management company removing content
editDistrict11entertainment (talk · contribs) has been removing While married, the musician also fathered two sons, Kingston and Khristian, with mistress DeVawn Moreno. for a while. It is clearly sourced with Thomasos, Christine. "Israel Houghton Child Support Case Reportedly Dropped". christianpost.com. Retrieved January 20, 2020. so I'm not sure what the underlying issue is. I'm also not sure why the editor is ignoring repeated advice to observe Wikipedia:Conflict of interest guidelines by editing the article directly rather than through edit requests here, but I suppose that's a different issue. The editor declared in this edit. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:16, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- The source related to the content being removed reads "Houghton has not publicly spoken out about his two youngest children, Kingston, 4, and Khristian, 2, that he allegedly fathered while in his first marriage to now ex-wife Meleasa Houghton. However, his representatives did assure The Christian Post that he was financially providing for the children." Has there been a retraction somewhere? Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:21, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- My thought is that we first remove the children's names in favor of privacy of non notable minors. Since the content is a bit controversial, it would be better to support it with multiple sources, which I'm guessing won't be hard to find. 2601:188:180:B8E0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 05:24, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Agreed! None of the CoI have remained so I would also like to remove the tag. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:26, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, absolutely. Until they return with another account, anyway. 2601:188:180:B8E0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 05:28, 19 February 2021 (UTC)
