Article Needs Serious Work
editLack of citations and honestly some very bizarre phrasing - "The Carcano rifle and the Breda 30 light machine gun had to be kept for a long time on a source of heat to work properly in extreme climatic conditions, and thus were often not capable of firing in the midst of battle. Incidentally, these last two weapons were considered the deadliest among the Italian arsenal." By who's metric? First of all, nobody is considering the Breda 30 to be "deadliest" anything - in fact it's widely regarded (for instance refer to Ian McCollum's video on the firearm) as one of, if not the worst Italian small-arms of the war. That said, there's no citations provided and I get the strange inkling the author of these passages assumes that Russia is a constant winter-hellscape or something. I find much of the information here to be suspect - to put it lightly - and I feel this seldom-discussed topic deserves a little better. 2601:87:4080:372:897D:98C:A916:3DF9 (talk) 17:37, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
Comment on ARMIR
editMy intent is to provide a home for information about the make-up of the "Italian Army in Russia" (ARMIR). The "Italian war in Soviet Union, 1941-1943" was an existing article that seems like an acceptable place to keep the activities of both the "Italian Expeditionary Corps in Russia" (CSIR) and the ARMIR. - that would be great! Can you start to add more information on Page?.Ivankazz (talk) 11:59, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
