Article title misleading
editThe current WP:TITLE does not make sense as this was an attempt at colonisation which didn't come to fruition. I can't find any evidence of its being a WP:COMMONNAME for the attempt as a parallel with Spanish colonization of the Americas, French colonization of the Americas, British colonization of the Americas, or other colonisation which established itself. The article has barely been developed since it was copied from Simple English Wikipedia where it is named Attempted Italian colonization of America. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:10, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
- Crikey, not this again! The article title is misleading because the article is bogus, created years ago by an editor who is now banned, Brunodam, if I recall correctly. He used several sockpuppets to try and keep it on English WP. I changed it to Thornton expedition. Going to request deletion once again. The mayor of Yurp (talk) 20:47, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
- Why am I not surprised. The article space needs to be salted. Thanks for removing it from the colonization template. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 21:56, 13 October 2016 (UTC)
