- Add around 10 main references
- Add sufficient footnotes (at least two or three in every paragraph)
- Draw SVG map
- Find and add images of the tsar from his period (coins, frescoes, illustrations); organize a Wikimedia Commons category.
- Check spelling and request external copy-edit
- Make a real intro (two paragraphs), possibly using material from "Overview" (which is to be removed)
- As a long-term goal, bring to FA status
