editIt seems pretty clear that Ivan Crkvenčić meets WP:NACADEMIC#8. He founded the journal Geographical Papers in 1970 and I've found citations to papers published in that journal as late as 1991. That's a cited journal running for 20+ years, and notability isn't temporary.
Although an entry doesn't confer notability, his biography on Croatian Encyclopedia states he was director of the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb from 1984 to 1988, which really does look like satisfying NACADEMIC#7 as well. --RexxS (talk) 00:39, 12 March 2020 (UTC)
