Papasov vs Papazov

edit

Why Papazov and not Papasov? It seems that he olso uses Papasov. --AKoan 08:20, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's been transliterated from Cyrillic (see Romanization of Bulgarian). In English there is some danger that the letter "s" is pronounced /s/ instead of the correct /z/. However, in German "z" is /ts/ and "s" between vowels is /z/, hence the alternative spelling. --Cameltrader 08:48, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

There should be an article about Yuri Yunakov (and the other musicians mentioned in the article- although it is wonderful that there is an article about Ivo Papasov)! I was curious why there was no link in this one and apparently that's because no one started one. I don't know Wikipedia etiquette well enough to write a stub, but surely one of you other music lovers do? Is there anything in the Bulgarian Wikipedia site about the other musicians mentioned here?Girl mark (talk) 08:11, 27 February 2011 (UTC)Reply
