The "wonderful sight"-quote

edit

"In the report, Stroop recalled: 'What a wonderful sight!'" - Where? On page 11 he briefly mentions "der Sprengung der Warschauer Synagoge um 20,15 Uhr beendet".

According to the reference Who Defended The Warsaw Ghetto?, Kazimierz Moczarski didn't quote the report but Stroops spoken words. Hexmaster (talk) 10:23, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Butchered sentence

edit

Afterwards, in an elaborately prepared report, now referred to as "The Stroop Report" (it would later be used as evidence at the Nuremberg Trials), originally titled "The Jewish Quarter of Warsaw is no more!" Stevo2001 (talk) 23:23, 22 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Gestapo vs SS

edit

The lead describes him as a high ranking member of Gestapo, while the text details his career in the SS. 173.171.192.180 (talk) 21:17, 27 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

More of the same; please see diff. The article appears to rely excessively on quotes by the subject from Interviews with the Executioner, which I consider an issue. K.e.coffman (talk) 04:09, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Boy with hands in air

edit

The boy with his hands held high is often used for propaganda purposes but he is known to have become a successful businessman in Britain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.129.106.78 (talk) 06:00, 20 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Were the inmates of the getto who shot Stroop's men executed?

edit

The conflict began when some of Stroop's men arrived to discover why the workers were not making uniforms as they were contracted to manufacture but instead made more-profitable fur coats. As they arrived Stroop's soldiers were shot. Were the perpetrators executed or were they killed during the conflict that they had initiated? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.129.106.78 (talk) 06:05, 20 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Infobox image size

edit
The current size
The default size

I believe that the aspect ratio of the infobox image in this article is such that presented at the infobox's default value it is too large, the visual equivalent of SHOUTING. I suggest that the current size is more appropriate. Beyond My Ken (talk) 02:08, 17 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
