Contested deletion
editThis article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Brook's work is still being broadcast on the BBC in 2018. --cagliost (talk) 11:58, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
- There's not a lot about him on the internet but plenty of mentions on Google Books. cagliost (talk) 12:00, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
Research
editThe referenced website says that Brook is married with three children, so I looked on FreeBMD and found the following marriage - https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?r=274104931:2162&d=bmd_1653949805. He married Elizabeth A Perver in 1984 in Portsmouth district. I only found one record for a Brook birth with Perver mother's maiden name, that was a girl born in Southampton district in 1988.
Searching for the birth of a James C W Brook on FreeBMD gives me one result - https://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?r=189782304:9893&d=bmd_1653949805. He was born in 1945, with his mother's maiden name being De Sacadura. His birth was registered in the Surrey Mid Eastern district.
His parents were Charles G Brook and Maria E K De Sacadura, who married in 1940 in Wandsworth district. The C in his name is probably Charles.
