Edit
editHaha this always gives me a chuckle JG Quintel wasn't a writer for Phineas and Ferb it was JG Orrantia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.165.140.193 (talk) 23:12, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
- "He also appeared in an iCarly episode." What?! I'm 99.99% sure that isn't true...Again, what?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.234.9.174 (talk) 20:59, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

- At least one of the storyboarders said on Formspring that not even HE knows, so I don't think we'll ever find out. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 18:52, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
- It's James Garland Quintel according to a post on Cal Wong's formspring. Ambiesushi (talk) 10:01, 11 July 2011 (UTC)
- Gonna second that post above me. Thurop confirmed it was James Garland on Deviantart. I also overhead it from someone who personally knew JG during San Diego Comic Con. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.94.29.38 (talk) 20:48, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you for seconding my post (yea it was me, I just forget to log in and sign). I can kinda understand why he'd go for the nickname. Ambiesushi (talk) 04:08, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Including name
editWe really need to include James' (JG) real name, if Thurop Van Orman has confirmed it to be James Garland Quintel, then the page needs to be renamed. --Mr Serious Guy (talk) 22:28, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
- It doesn't need to be renamed: JG Quintel is his professional name i.e the name he goes by in the credits. It should stay JG Quintel but we should have his real name in the infobox. Example: Ice Cube's page does not have his real name as the pagename. Amber Workman aka Ambiesushi (talk) 04:04, 20 November 2011 (UTC)
- Well, that's okay as long as his real name is in there somewhere. I know it's his professional name and I go by abbreviations too but it's not a proper article without a proper name somewhere Mr Serious Guy (talk) 19:12, 25 November 2011 (UTC)

Archiving
editAs per WP:TALKCOND and WP:ARCHIVE, article talk pages are generally archived when page length becomes excessive, about 50kB or when there are more than 10 main sections. Archiving short talk pages such as this (only 5.7kB and 4 sections at the time of archiving) is unnecessary and forces interested readers to have to look in multiple places to find content that is easily accommodated in one place. Accordingly, I've restored the archived content. --AussieLegend (talk) 14:54, 6 March 2012 (UTC)

Question
editQuestion: Why does Wikipedia use two letters seperated in-between the periods? Just like you call the article R. L. Stine instead of R.L. Stine! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.68.2.144 (talk) 12:49, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
