Eden is the "only person to have won world championship titles in both speed skating and cycling"? Maybe if it said "World Allround Champion" in Speed Skating, but there are several World Championships in Speed Skating (Allround, Sprint, and Single Distance). All of them are World Championships titles. This makes Eden not the only one:
Sheila Young - The only person to have won World Championships titles in two different sports in the same year (1973).
Only man to win world championships in speed skating and cycling, perhaps? Had a flick through the world championships list of UCI and they didn't mention any famous speed skaters (though they didn't mention Eden either) Sam Vimes07:49, 8 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
