When you're on a good thing, stick to it. ;-) Will try to complete over the next few days... Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 10:00, 26 March 2016 (UTC)

Toolbox checks -- no dab or EL issues.
Prose/content/structure -- as usual pls let me know if any concerns with my copyedit; other points:
- If known, we generally include the names of a subject's parents even if not notable in themselves.
- Loved the Freyburg anecdote, sounds entirely plausible given what I've heard of the general that Freyburg wouldn't discipline Hinton -- I read that when a British officer remarked that the New Zealanders didn't salute much, Freyburg replied, "Oh, I expect if you wave to them they'll wave back..." ;-)
Images -- licensing looks okay, you could perhaps trim the alt text in the first one a bit, and add some to the second one, but it's not a requirement.
Referencing -- sources look reliable and formatting fine except:
- You could spell out the access dates for the two nzherald refs at the end.
- The last EL (Bolger's eulogy) didn't open for me.

- @Ian Rose: thanks for the comments Ian. I have amended the alt text for both images, added the parents' names to the first section of the article and tweaked the access dates for the NZ Herald links to be consistent with the other access dates. I doublechecked the link to Bolger's eulogy in the NZ Parliament and it did work for me. It goes to the Hansard page for that parliamentary session and there are a few eulogies to Hinton from other MPs on that page as well. Thanks again. Cheers. Zawed (talk) 09:50, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- No prob. The Bolger one still doesn't work for me but if it does for you then good enough, that's how it is sometimes...! Passing now. Cheers, Ian Rose (talk) 10:20, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
