Weasel words
editThis article needs to be cleaned up. "Tragically", "creepy", "the very weird" should all be replaced. Shamrox 10:38, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Mysterious Circumstances
edit"Acquaintances[who?] note that Nance was a notoriously late sleeper and was rarely ever awake at the time he claimed the altercation took place"
This is not only unsourced, but ignores the likelihood that a "late sleeper" and hard drinker who finds himself at a Los Angeles donut shop in the early morning probably hasn't been to sleep yet. Bustter (talk) 15:55, 10 September 2009 (UTC)
What is the point of saying he wasn't driving? A blood alcohol level that would be illegal to drive with does not mean he was driving, and is completely irrelevant. Since there is no evidence or even indication of driving, that sentence should be removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.55.223.243 (talk) 04:38, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
Geography Anybody?
editI believe someone is confused. In reference to Jack's wife's suicide: his wife was in Los Angeles , California , Jack was in Yosemite , California - so how did phonelines getting hit by lightning in Oregon disrupt his call? Yosemite is closer to Nevada , and a good ten hour drive just to the Oregon border. So either Jack was somewhere other than Yosemite , in Oregon OR someone meant to say lightning striking in Nevada? ( Figured I'd give you a chance to sort it out , and mention it here , rather than disrupt the main body of the article! ). Harvey J Satan (talk) 02:31, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

Picture
editIt would be nice to have a picture of Mr. Nance other than the Eraserhead poster. Unschool 18:18, 22 June 2022 (UTC)
