editMuch of the current article was written in a POV, familiar style not suited to an encyclopedia entry. I edited what I could, but the article remains entirely uncited, and not being familiar with the artist, I can't confirm much of what's left. Was the previous version just lifted from a brochure from one of Jack's gigs? -Whimper

Concerning the notability of Jack Semple, A recording of Jack's music was played from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM (EST) on June 17, 2006. A summary of the show as posted on the CBC Radio Website says:
- A concert featuring one of Canada's foremost blues artists, Jack Semple, this week in Hour One of Saturday Night Blues. He was caught at this Maple Ridge Jazz and Blues Festival in B.C. ...
I'm not very familiar with Jack Semple. I first heard him on this broadcast and was interested in finding out more. Unfortunately Wikipedia doesn't have much information on him...
Anyway, this meets the criteria, specifically "Has been the subject of a half hour or hour broadcast on a national radio network." on Notability (music) 67.70.96.217 04:21, 18 June 2006 (UTC)
