Notability

edit

It would be great if we had more information on this hotel chain, as of now we basically have that it was a hotel chain that got bought out, followed by information about the company that bought the chain - there is more information about the buyout than about the hotel itself. Maybe an article about Allegro should be compiled with a section that talks about Jack Tar Hotels. Drunauthorized (talk) 14:59, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

A "major" chain?

edit

How many Jack Tar hotels were there? This article indicates there were only a small number. God bless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.153.115.152 (talk) 22:37, 22 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Spelling of Jack "Tar"

edit

In Greenville, S.C., the Jack Tarr company owned the Poinsett Hotel for a while. Is "Jack Tar" a misspelling, or were there two similarly named hotel chains?Waltezell (talk) 14:53, 24 September 2015 (UTC)71.81.123.107 (talk) 14:51, 24 September 2015Reply
