"His speech was slightly affected due to the surgery" --- I was under the impression he was rendered mute, which makes this an understatement. If anyone knows one way or the other, this may need correcting.

Rick Wakeman's First Minimoog

Is it true that Rick Wakeman bought his first ever Minimoog from Jack Wild? And that he got a very good price for it because Jack Wild thought it was broken (because it only played one note at a time)? Copy edit

I completed a major copy edit of the article. I wound up deleting a few statements that were unsourced for a year or more and that were not supported by the existing citations in the article. I also updated the citation style for consistency and to generate metadata. Useful information

I believe the information about Jack should not be removed because it greatly adds to the article. As a longtime fan and manager of his website I have seen most of this mentioned by Jack himself in interviews shortly before his death. (JackWildFan (talk) 21:08, 8 May 2010 (UTC))

Unfortunately, unless those interviews were published by a reliable third party, they wouldn't be acceptable sources for Wikipedia. Please have a look at WP:SOURCES to see more information about that. If you know of recorded third-party interviews, and could post pointers to them, I'm sure that someone would review them and integrate the material. As Jack's manager, you might be perceived as unable to present a neutral point of view, so it might be best to let others make the contributions to the article from the sources you can provide. // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 23:11, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

While this is an old post I just wanted to correct Macwhiz... according to the exact text of the two posts above, JackWildFan was not "Jack's manager" but rather he was the "manager of his website". Just wanted to point that out for clarity's sake. I suspect this is/was a fan website but it could be referring an official commercial website too, that is unclear. In either case, as JWF is a seriously involved fan the issues of WP:NPOV and WP:RS are still valid. 66.97.209.215 (talk) 02:12, 20 October 2013 (UTC)

Phil Collins

While slightly petty, I find the wording describing Phil Collins as "... a well-known solo vocal artist." as somewhat of an understatement. I am not sure what the correct encyclopedic approach to this would be but it seems to me "world famous" and/or "award winning" would be slightly more accurate?
