Makawhio or Makaawhio? (also potential page move)
editI've seen both in the sources: Makawhio eg National Library and DOC, Makaawhio eg Ngāi Tahu legislation NZ Herald. I am inclined to think the latter must be right because of its use by Ngāi Tahu and on this Kati Mahaki ki Makaawhio hapū website, but thought I'd flag in case others have different views.
(I also think it would be sensible to move the page to the dual name for natural disambiguation with Jacobs River, New Zealand and because my read of the sources is that the dual name is commonly used, but thought best to sort out the spelling first...)
