There is no such thing as a Jacobus coin. It's just the nickname used for the pound sovereign or UNITE issued by James I from 1604 to 1619. To distinguish it from James's later pound sovereign known as the LAUREL (1619-25), the Jacobus was also known as the SCEPTRE, in Scotland it was usually referred to as "20 merk piece".
