... that in the 1920s, Jainti Dass Saggar was the only Indian doctor in Dundee and was one of the longest serving members of its Town Council. Dr Jainti Saggar (1898–1954), was the only Indian doctor in Dundee in the 1920s and was one of the longest serving members of Dundee Town Council.[1]
