Aberdeen
editComment from main article by 81.79.138.128 moved here: "(Aberdeen is NOT an Anglo-Saxon name -- it is a city in Scotland and the name comes from the ancient Brythonic Celtic language)". Can anyone confirm? --Chikinsawsage 03:19, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
This should help you. I know you aren't meant to use Wikipedia as a reference; but, the references it uses are pretty smart. If you can be bothered. I think removing Aberdeen from the "Anglo-Saxon" group would be a rather good idea, as it is a rather offensive term to many Scots.

Also I think Avon is Brythonic, either way, seeing as no-one is watching this page I am going to change the contentious language.--BullNiro (talk) 01:42, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
Of what period, and when did significant numbers of African Americans begin to move into Jamaica Estates. Way back when, for generations, until recently, it's all one has ever associated with the community and name. --65.88.88.253 (talk) 17:44, 31 May 2014 (UTC)Veryverser
Two issues
editA couple of issues I have with this article; 1)Jamaica Estates needs a commons gallery separate from the rest of Jamaica. 2) is below. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:07, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
