Merge with 'James Anderton (controversialist)'?
editPretty sure this is a duplication. Kirok of L'Stok (talk) 00:03, 14 December 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, you are correct. They are one and the same man, who wrote under the pen-name John Brerely (and who should not be confused with Fr. Lawrence Anderton, S.J., his cousin, who already has a page on Wikipedia). The best explanation is in Alison's 1983-ish paper, which is cited on this page. - And I should mention, too, that James Anderton is not a priest, despite his pen-name occasionally being printed as "John Brerely, Priest". ReadingWriting0419 (talk) 06:05, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
