A judge at age 5?
editEither there is an error in his dates of service as a judge, or the wrong person is being labeled as a judge, since I really doubt he was a judge at age 5 as the dates given in the article claim. Carolina wren (talk) 02:36, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
- You are correct. That was a reference to another Meriwether (a close relative, by the name of James Meriwether). The passage has been corrected (and added to the correct Meriwether).Gulbenk (talk) 15:51, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
Category:American slave owners
editNo mention of slave-owning. I feel that this category should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history was notable in itself. Valetude (talk) 17:09, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
