The three old encyclopedias I've consulted (NIE, Appletons', and 1920 Americana) all give his middle name as "Barrett" rather than "Blair" as two available Internet biographies cited in this article do. Library Guy (talk) 18:41, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
A check of DAB however did yield "Blair," and I would regard DAB as the most reliable, though I am puzzled by the rest. Library Guy (talk) 19:49, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
