COI due to Autobiographical editor user:Bidlack
editThis article has been created by, and heavily written and edited by the subject of the article itself. I have removed the excessive citations per WP:RESUME and removed WP:PUFFERY to assume neutral language. If the subject of the article edits this page in the future please be sure to scrutinize the neutrality and WP:GNG of any included material. --Tautomers(T C) 03:25, 22 December 2021 (UTC)
- @Bidlack: please understand that editing your own wiki page represents a conflict of interest and that wikipedia is not a résumé. It is important to retain neutral language, and excessively promotional language is discouraged. I would encourage you to please stop editing your own wiki page except for information that is blatently factually incorrect, and allow others to assess and assume what is relevant for wikipedia. Also cc'ing user:Russ Woodroofe and user:Phil Bridger since they have recently edited the page as well. --Tautomers(T C) 22:37, 22 December 2021 (UTC)
Reply (from Bidlack) to Reviewers: Thank you! I thought we were supposed to edit these great Wikipedia Articles for better accuracy (who better than the subject himself for accuracy) and really appreciate how you all have been helping. You did GREAT! I'll leave it alone for now and will follow instructions more carefully - especially keeping this information neutral and stick to the facts. - @Bidlack: the best way for you to engage with the article is to request edits (or provide sources) here on the talk page. Editing an article on yourself directly is discouraged, for lots of good reasons -- I'm sure you've read some of the policies, guidelines, and essays that we've linked.
