Colson

edit

There should be some mention of the fact that he was originally Charles Colson's attorney, but Colson made an offer of releasing him to defend Nixon and was accepted. I'll try to find sources on this beyond CC's bio Born Again. Lawikitejana (talk) 01:41, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Clarification

edit

Is there any indication anywhere that Mr. St. Clair was actually being heavily sarcastic or even purposefully undermining Nixon? I mean, I'm sure that at no point in this country since, oh, about 1774, let alone 1974, would anyone think for a second that such an argument would be taken seriously. Even the Monarchs of England at least claimed the rule of applied to them by that point. Was St. Clair just out of his gourd from the stress or something?
