Calling All Cars

edit

During Davis' 2nd term as the LA Police Chief, there was a radio program called Calling All Cars, sponsored by the Rio Grande Oil Company, bought out by Sinclair Oil. Chief Davis frequently gave a brief introduction to the program. I'm not sure if this is worth including in this article or not. Calling All Cars frequently recreated police activities in Los Angeles, but would occasionally cover criminals in other parts of the country, such as John Dillinger. This show was kind of a precursor to Dragnet_(series), including an attempt to give the Los Angeles Police Department a better image. Jtyroler (talk) 23:14, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
