Questionable lionizing slant

edit“By 1832, Fannin was involved in the business of illegally transporting slaves into the State of Georgia, per Georgia Constitution of 1798, Article IV, Section 11, which states "There shall be no future importation of slaves into this State, from Africa or any foreign place.”
This was listed without a citation. This information is incorrect, he was never involved in a slave trade business in Georgia. I think whoever added this was confused, as he did work as a slave trader while in Texas, but not in his home state of Georgia. This article does discuss his slave trade business in Texas though, with appropriate citation. Friedbyrd (talk) 17:17, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
