Style
editThis entry reads as if parts have been taken over wholesale from a 19th-century source. Consider the sentences "Dundas's conduct with reference to this bombardment has been much criticised; and many writers, following the Times correspondent, have repeated the current gossip of the camp, circulated in ignorance of the many details which cramp and control a commanding officer. At the same time, it is difficult not to believe that Dundas, though a most estimable gentleman, brave and chivalrous, was old both in years and constitution, and was wanting in the energy which the occasion demanded." The style and use of the present tense suggest a Victorian writer. The content may be unexceptionable but it should be modernized. Cenedi (talk) 09:44, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
