The High School section reads as a friend wrote it
editI don't want to rain on his parade, but this is not balanced or biological in tone.
for example the reunion part is highly qualified and after reading it you can't come away with anything but the idea that someone who really liked him must have written that: [1] I'm sure the reunion was chock full of fond memories but who offers this glowing, "great reminiscence" review of the reunion and what exactly were the "mementos" marking his participation in the Olympics? To me, its not even clear if the author knows. All that's clear is they think highly of him. (and he may be a great guy, but shouldn't this read more biographical in tone?)
In saying [2] its unclear whether he won an award for most improved athlete on his track team or whether the author left out a couple of the words "ONE OF THE" most improved athletes on the team. "One of the most" surely isn't hard to claim, half the team could lay claim to being "one of the" most improved but if they are saying he was THE most improved, that should mean he won an award, right?

Jamie and his classmates exchanged stories about the yesteryears and shared a delightful dinner with amusing songs from the 1990s. Prior to exiting the building, Jamie left behind a few mementos marking his participation in the 2004 Olympics.
