Adding German translations
editI have removed the German translations, as this is about a series of Swedish novels. There is certainly no need to refer to "die A-Gruppe" in the lead, which is specifically in relation to the Swedish novel series. We use original and English language only for translations.
With regard to the TV series, whilst I appreciate that there was German money involved, we should still only be using the original and English-language titles. The German titles cannot be considered "original", merely the German translation of the original Swedish. In a world where we increasingly see co-productions between different nations, it would be impractical to include translations for the home-countries of each investor, and this is of little interest to readers of the English-language Wikipedia. --Rob Sinden (talk) 08:23, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Also note that the main production company was the Swedish company Filmlance International,[1] with the other companies in co-production. --Rob Sinden (talk) 08:41, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
Series One: production, distribution
editThe Series One section lists several companies involved in the co-production of this series, supported by the BBC source, yet the IMDb pages for these films show this list only for the first film ("Misterioso") and list others for both production and distribution. So I've removed them.
I've also deleted the German release date (as they were distributed elsewhere also, we don't need all of them here) though I've kept the UK and US ones (this being the English language WP). I trust everyone is OK with that. Swanny18 (talk) 19:24, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
Split?
editI'm thinking the TV adaptations could do with being on their own page, if only to make the categorization easier. If there are no objections I will go an head with that in a little while. Swanny18 (talk) 23:37, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
