editThis article is currently remarkably similar to this page. Either that site has copied Wikipedia or Wikipedia contributors have been adding unoriginal content. The entire article is in danger of deletion per WP:COPYVIO. --Orlady (talk) 17:14, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
- I'm confident that site has copied from us - there's a give away at the start of the second paragraph:
- Jane Grossman grew up in New York City. She attended the Walden School and received a BFA in graphic design at Pratt Institute]] in Brooklyn.
- The square brackets are very suggestive that they've copied the wikicode and missed removing those brackets. I also see evidence that our article has evolved naturally. For example we start of referring to them as "Jane and Michael Stern" and then change to the current form. It would seem unlikely that we'd copy from that source, changing the way they are referred too and then it randomly be changed back. It seems much more likely that they copied from us. If there are specifics sections if you have concerns about or any other possible sources please could you post them here. I've removed the copypaste tag for now. Feel free to re-add if I've missed something. Dpmuk (talk) 21:54, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for that investigation, Dpmuk. Those square brackets are a good clue. --Orlady (talk) 22:05, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
- Not a problem. For some reason I enjoy investigating possible copyvios - I think it's the puzzle solving that's often involved. Dpmuk (talk) 22:58, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
